Howdy,

I've got a number of users creating secondary accounts and posting BS on my forums. I can't block ban IP's - as they are using a dial up in a large city and a lot of others would get blocked as well.

What I want to do is something like this - two accounts using one computer in, user1 logins in, checks the posts, checks his pm's and then logs out, the user2 using the same computer logs in a does the same, if the space of time between the first guy and the second guy logging in is less than 5 mins then they would be both temporarily blocked.

Is there a script available for this or will I start writing a script myself.

How do you want to determinde if it is the same computer?
IP? Could be the IP of a NAT router
Cookies? Can be easily deleted

I've been looking into this hack lately for one of our larger forums, only problem is it's not a script that will autoblock dup users, it would still require some user input...
