Is it possible to add a feature to vb.org which will help users to search for there posts in threads this can be placed under Thread Tools.

It comes very handy if i have made a post in specific thread now again instead of browsing through all the pages to locate my post (some threads get over 500 replies easily ;)) it would be easier with the help of above mentioned idea.

hope it sounds nice and can be implemented asap.

if u click on ur username on this page their is already a link that lets u search for your own posts

"Find More Posts by blahblahblah"

or u can use the advanced search feature to search for a particular username posts.

In user profiles, there are links to find all posts by the user or threads started by the user, for example:

Posts made by you: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/search.ph...nduser&u=14504

Threads started by you: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/search.ph...huser=SaN-DeeP

Regarding what i read in the announcment thread for my Hack details, that may be of some use, i'll think about it (and about a way of how to do it without hacking too much ^^)

Bumping if possible to implement @ vb.org, its a big pain to go through the entire thread (40 pages+) during upgrades when someone plans to re-install these hacks.

I agree I would like to see this to. A forum I visit has a 'fliter' button under everyones avatar in threads, if you click it the page re-loads and shows all posts by that user in the thread. These guys also hacked in 'display my threads' for forumdisplay and display my posts for showthread. There are a lot of large threads on that forum and I use these fetures multiple times everyday.

i was actually gonna look into something like this myself as i saw it on a vb2 board the other day "filter posts by this user" which mean that only their posts and the thread starters posts appeared i thought it was quite cool.
