Newsfeed with Selector menu on vbAdvanced CMPS
Hello Everyone
This little mod, is great if you want to incorporate news feeds into the vbAdvanced CMPS There is the one Prerequisite: I use the freeware version of carp, but, if you have another aggregator you can modify this mod to use your own ;) Carp http://www.geckotribe.com/rss/carp/ you can download the free version here: http://www.geckotribe.com/rss/carp/docs/download.php Install Instructions: http://www.geckotribe.com/rss/carp/docs/install.php within the zip file is an instruction.txt file that should explain everything. Demo: http://www.tech-unity.com Update: updated instruction.txt file in the zip to comment on the carp path ;) |
Great! -- btw I'm on vbAdvanced.com too :) -- I'm the same guy that asked you for this. Installed and working -- thanks!!!!

Now, can I have the Merllin setup you have. It is great! ;) |

The person that created the Merlin setup, said he'll be releasing soon. That was a couple of weeks ago, I'll ask him about it. ;) Remember though, anybody that wants it. Only IE users can view the actual script. :p I also only have it set up so Unregistered/Not logged in users can see it |

This is GREAT! Installed without a hitch, and even though it's only been functional about an hour, I have already had a BUNCH of PMs from members who love this new feature!! THANK YOU! *clicks install* |
