Graphics for Category strips...

Hey guys as you can see I am new here and to vB in general but I was wondering if anybody could help me to make the category strips graphics...an example of what i mean can be found here: http://forums.teamxbox.com

thnx for any help...

and how can i make it so the images look right on all resolutions...my spacer setting is 125 pixels...
