Sub forums on forumdisplay
 

Not really sure where else to post this so i'll try here. Basically what I need to do it clean up my sub forum display. I have several hundred forums that go down many levels. I don't want the first level to show sub forums, but I can't figure out how to do it. Can it be done with conditionals? If so I need my hand held here.

Notice how the sub forums below those show up o nthat page and clutter the hell out of it? That is what I don't want.

Does anyone have a similar problem out there? I honestly can't think of a good solution. I was hoping for a hack to show subforums in columns, but no one seems to have that figured out.
