Moving posts from one DB to the next

I have two licensed vBs, 3-databases.

2 for the forums, 1 for user data.

Some forums I want to share between the two... link back and forth.

Only problem is i will need to move misplaced posts to a shared forum.

Can anyone think of the least complicated way to code this? From what angle should I approach it?

The two boards are on separate servers?

seperate HTTP servers, they share a database server.
