gettings permissions working with multiple usergroups
well i cant seem to get this to work at all>_< i have myself and others in multiple usergroups and it seems that if say the 3 usergroups im in(Admin and others) all have the same permissions yet for some reason they overwrite each other, then the permissions are off instead of on. anyone know y this is happening?

as usual, you have to calculate what is the FIRST level of permissions... main permissions SET to NO will be overwritten by a secondary permission SET to YES... because a NO just tell it is not activated YET...
maybe someday i will release that code that everybody reclaim, that do one thing: overwrite all permission by the main permission group you're in... a good way to never overwrite a permission is to never apply permissions on multiple groups... so group#1 will deal with posting perms, group#2 with forum access, etc... |
