Speed Boost Hack for VB3
 

I am unable to find this hack for vb3 so here it goes. I am looking for a hack that will dramatically increase the boards speed on a already fast server. Anyone know of anything?

Increase their loading speed how? Basicly vbulletin is very well optmized out of the box, there is little you can do to boost the loading because of so many aspects, users connection speed, server connection speed, server load.

the few things you can do are
1. enable gzip and set the level to 1
2. store css as files
3. store avatars as files
4. get a optmized set of graphics that are lower in size


After that.. theres not a whole lot you can do.

Have you installed any hacks?

Yeah, well I was surfing alot of other forum boards, like phpbb and invision because I was looking for more vb mods and those came up in the search engines and i was wondering if there was something like those for vb. Thanks!

What hacks if any have you installed, some can be fairly intensive and slow down the board alot
