Strikes Login System Advanced

"Strikes" Login System Advanced
by AnhTuanCool

Description and Feature:
This hack allows to have options with the original Strike Login System. As default, Strike Login System set with 5 attempts to login before user's ip being locked, and after 15 min to be able to login again. This hack allows to have custom number of attempt before lock Ip and time (in second) before the ip can login again. Rather than just 5 and 15 min. :)

If I may suggest one thing:

In your query where you add the settings to the setting table, you may want to change volatile from 1 to 0. In that way, if you upgrade your vB software, those settings will not be deleted.

Well, I found this out when I upgraded from 3.01 to 3.03 and there were three settings which were in the initial database but not in the upgraded one. I check the 3.01 db and what they had in common, was the volatile column. Did some checking and found out.

Well, actually when someone upgrades their board, then they would have to install this hack again for some reality reasons so the volatile just remove its own column to avoid concuring while re-installing this hack. :)
