Sort of like censorship
 

Basically, I know that you can enter censored words, and they change to the characters you want e.g. ****

However, I am starting to get annoyed with the txt speak on my forums, and I thought it might be a good idea, if I could replace certain words such as m8, with mate.

Any ideas?

Well i think thats kinda wrong, but your fourm not mine. Try the replacements maybe?

OK, I wouldn't say its wrong, they like the idea too. They want to type short, but others can't read it. If I can let them type short, and make it readable to others, everybody wins.
