TheMusicMan - empty sponsor.php

<a href="http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=117612" target="_blank">http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=117612</a>

Note: Assuming you want sponsor.php
Note: Assuming your custom template is called sponsor
Note: This is a vBulletin file, stripped to the naked bone and updated to act as a sponsor page, Jelosft copyright - so don't distribute -
Note: Do not tell the monkey.
Note: If it doesn't work, goto vbulletin.org and try again there, we do not provide support for this. Also, I don't give support for this, if it doesn't work try someone else please.
Note: I am serious about the monkey .. don't tell him.:ninja:

Enjoy,
hopefully this works.

assuming we don't know what is the goal of that hack, can you resume instead of a link ?

I think i can resume by: A default source file for starting a displaying page of any kind of content...

I'm not sure what this does... Can someone clarify? Thanks. :)

This is for themusicman, just like the title says,
and the first line links to the page where its requested, go read if it you need more details. but since its just for themusicman I think nobody would care.

This is a hack for ONE person? :) Why not just PM him?

nexialys 10-08-2004 01:44 PM

..because Floris said that.. lol... hum.. this forum is for Public Releases btw... so maybe rename this thread and make it like: Template for a default vB file!

lol private hacks in a public release section? :\

Ooooh... just spotted this.... *feels important now* hehehehe

Many thanks for posting this Floris, very kind of you.

For everyone's benefit: I was trying to create a totally new php page but using the customised skin and new template to show the page etc... I can readily create new templates without issue, but I had no idea as to what the stripped down php file that called it should contain. I have some sponsors who don't have their own www site live just now, hence requested a seperate page on my site.

Here's an example of what I came up with...

Thanks Floris - you are a gentleman.
