Would this be a setting or a hack?

I want to show which post number in addition to users total posts.

For example... If this was the 12th post I ever made........... and I go on to make 419 (this number would increase as I posted more) below my user name, later when people went back to look at this thread it would say "Posts: 419" I want it to say "Post 12 of 419"

The type of board I want- it would be relevant of how early someone made the posts- it would be a pain to go compare dates and times.

Thanks.

Thanks.

This would require modification... you'd most likely have to add a field to the " . TABLE_PREFIX . "post table.

So my next step would be to post in the modification request board? Or is there a different procedure?

Exactly, post in the modification request normally, but this time i'll move it for you :)

And to give you an answer (partially), it would require a change to the post table, OR an extra query.

[QUOTE=Xenon], but this time i'll move it for you :)

Thanks for the move.

Here is the official request! Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks

Maybe it would be easier to like "brand" the message- so It says "This was 'usernames' 5th post" ?

I would appreciate any assistance.
