Description and Features:
As default, Pm quota is set for usergroup only, that means every members in that usergroup would have the same amount of pm allowed or PM quota, sometimes it's really annoyed for me cause when it goes out of pm quota then I have to lower my messages or increasing the usergroup's pm quota Both of them are not comfortable when you don't want to less any messages and you received or made, or increasing the pm quota for the whole usergroup!. So I added an addition Pm quota option for user (of course only admin can set it) and the way this works is added up this quota to the usergroup quota so we got the total quota better than only for usergroup. And that's all this hack about.

To use: Choose for edit a member in your admincp, there will be an option under the homepage option, so you can set the pm quota for that user.

Screenshot and installing instruction are in attachment, and don't forget to click INSTALL if you use this hack. Have fun ;)

So if the usergroup limit is 30 pm's, and I set userx's pm limit to 5, he is allowed 35 pm's while the rest of the usergroup is sllowed 30?

I think I'm having some problems with this. Some users are complaining that they are getting Mailbox full errors when trying to send messages to people I've raised the quota limit on.

I've just reinstalled this hack and no problem occured. If their PM quota have raised then the notify email will be sent if used over quota again, totally, not the original one :).

Bud, I installed this hack some 1 month back but i never tested it. But today, i realized that its not working.

i have installed it as per instructions but the max limit to send and recieve messages is still 50. I am not sure what could be wrong but will really appreciate if u could help me out here.

This hack is purposely to be installed on vb version 3.0.3 which already history now. Please re-do what you've done if you think it might got leech. I will update the instruction for lastest vb version as soon as I can. Thanks for understanding,

Installation worked fine on 3.0.7. Nice hack, but I am still questioning myself, if your quota should be additional to the group's one, or totally bypassing the group's quota and being a per-user definable limit.

Oh well, decisions, decisions, decisions.
