How Do I....

Ok, I have tried this on vbulletin.com and they couldnt give me an answer, so Im hoping that you guys might be able to. Im trying to make all my forum leaders have their user title picture things the same, but give regular users a user title that changes when they hit a certain post count. But I cannot stress enough that I dont want any of the forum leaders to be effected by the post count.

If you need this info, my site is www.ultimatuner.com

I hope that made sense.... :ermm:

simple:

each usergroup have a style tag: Username HTML Markup

you simply have to create specific usergroups depending on postcounts, create useless usergroups that users will join when they are promoted (in the Usergroups Promotions) ...

your moderators are not filtered by the promotion, as they will receive their tag by default, as you wish...

users will be promoted to a different style of username when they have X posts...

no need of a hack for that.. just join two features of vB...

Ok you sound like you know what you are doing and im glad to find someone who knows what im talking about. Perhaps you could show me step by step as to how to do this to lets say Registered Users. What would I need to do? Im sorry if I am a pest, but Im kind of a noob at all of this...

Ok I made each user group, and i tried promoting registered users to a certain user group that has a minimum of 0 posts. And I even updated counters and it still doesnt work. Could I give you admin access and do this for me?

Put them in a new Usergroup so the posts count won't affect them :)

Ok thanks I figured it out. Its an easy process once you figure it out, its just that I have 14 different user groups so it gets really repeticious.
