Query for Latest Posts Only?
 
Hi! On the homepage for our site...not the forums homepage...I'd like to list the five latest posts in the forums. I can't begin to figure out what tables and fields to reference. I was able to post the five latest topics posted in the forums on the homepage (see here ), but I'd also like to get the latest posts on there, too....the same way. I have the idea there and know how to do it, but no clue what to query. Thanks! Any ideas and help would be muchly appreciated. Thanks!

You would be best off to use the javascript syndicastion, instead of a query (Which could be rather big).

Ok, cool. Thanks. I turned that on. But I don't know where to go from there. I got a reply to another post that told me how to view the js feed. But I go there and don't know what I do? Do I take the code on that page and make it a js script on my HTML (PHP, really) hompage? This is completely new to me. Thanks.
