idea

Well I was thinking about this yesterday wondering if I should just do it but then remembered ohh yah have no time :ermm:

Anyways a hack that you can use like a news script, you can post news that goes to a board but also goes to your main page news page or w/e, so basicly if everytime you post some new news in your news forum, it also goes to your main page with the title ect. autor, and there is a little thing that says 'their are X replies.'

Maybe this hack is out there didn't find it tho

We have several CMS like systems that already do that and you also can do RSS feeds to your main page.

nah not cms, and i don't like rss. I am talking about something you can put on any page of your site that will take the topics and posts from a set forum and put them there

I think there is a simple news script laying in the vB3 forums somewhere. i'm not positive but I'm pretty sure. Maybe you can modify that to your needs
