images in signatures based on usergroup?

Is there a way to allow images to be used in signatures based on which group the user is in? I've set up an "Elite Membership" user group and they get more features than standard members. One thing I've been asked to do is to enable image signatures for the paying members.

Is this possible? or been done? :)
