how can i set it up that only logged in users can see certain parts of text in my forum?

Make them non viewable to unregistered users in the forum properties.

yeah i just figured that would do the trick. so what i did was made it so that they couldn't view any of the threads in the that specific forum.

but is it possible to just make certain threads unviewable for them in that forum?
