vist users websites
I noticed that some of the users have website in there profile. But when you click on there name in a post and click on vist there website it takes me back to vbulletin.org. This is because its reading the users website as. https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/www.myuserswebsite.com
Look here for an example. https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=69454 Click on his name and place you mouse of the website link and notice what it says on the bottom of your browser. ;) |
Good point - this could easily be tested for in the places this link appears, or a CRON to test that item in the database table and modify if appropriate.

you are right.. as a matter of fact I think checking http:// affix should be added as a default feature into vb.

yes, so it's working as designed, but it's not designed optimal in my eyes ;)

maybe someone can release a hack to correct the situation ?!... a small regex when adding a url in our profile would clean the situation... isn't it ?!
|
