Profile Page Bio Info
 

I think that this is a hack request which is why I have posted it here rather than at vBtemplates. But if I am wrong I apologise. :o

I know that I can add custom fields to the profile page without hacking, but I would like to add an extended Biography section. So people can write up a long bio and add smilies etc.; maybe some colour.

Basically I am after this as I have a thread on my site, "By way of Introduction" but thought that there details which were in it would be more useful if attached to a users profile page.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

when you create a new profile field you can set it up to display more lines of text, and you can enable bbcodes and smilies in those.

Thank you. But I am not sure how to do this.

When I create a new profile field I get

• Title
• Description
• Default Value
• Max Length of Allowed User Input
• Etc.

But nothing that allows me to set the use of BBCode or Smilies.

Am I missing something?
