Zip Code Distance
 

Is there currently a mod out there so that members can search within x ammount of miles of their zipcode? If not..I have the database and a very good starting point on this if there's a developer interested in taking on this project.

Here's the format of the database I have


ID, Zipcode, State, City, Latitude, Longitude

So if there is one let me know..if there's not, please experienced programmers, let's get this done :)

I have one already in the works. It will tie in with another app I'm developing that allows you to look up sex offenders in your zip code and in surrounding zip codes. I should have it up soon.

I had a working system with phpbb that worked very well - but after upgrading to vb - I am kind of lost on how to proceed. I was using mine for contractor leads - where people submit projects and the system sent emails to applicable contractors within 50 miles of their zipcode.
Anybody have a direction they can send me?

Any progess towards a mod that has this feature?

i am interested in this mod as well, im sure it would be a big hit
