On my message board, many of the members like to be able to easily see what state other members live in. That way when someone is heading out on a road trip, they can see in advance which members to contact, etc. I had created a map, and updated it as often as I could, but that became much too time consuming. What I would like to find is a hack that makes it possible to organize the members by their location. For example, you can currently view the members by their user name, their join date, how many posts they've made, when their last visit was, or by their reputation. How hard would it be to add their location to those options?

Add a profile option for "Location" and make it searchable.
