guests not able to view board???
 

Hey guys, i've been looking for a mod or maybe even a setting in the forums that would require anyone to come in my forums to register or sign in. Sorta like a screen that you cant go anywhere from, only have the choice to sign in or register, cant see memberlist etc. I have seen it before, it says like 'the admin of this board requires all guests to sign in'. I know i have seen invision boards with this feature, it would be very useful for my site to have it like that. If you could help me out i would apreciate it thx.

This can be done with simple permissions. Just go into the Group Permissions and click "All No" for every group except Registered Users, Moderators, Super Moderators, Administrators, and any other custom group you want to see the site.

i have tryed that yet when i do, it just makes the forum rooms not visible to guests. I was looking to make it so in order to even get to the forums u need to sign in on like an entrance page. I found an example but its an invision board, but it shows clearly how i mean by a login page. You are unable to view any of the board until u sign in, not just the forum rooms.
