Thats what they should expect buying housing in the hurrican zone :)

There will most likely be a few deaths due to people to ignorant to leave or ones that can't get out in time, but mostly these storms are bad because of poperty damage. They are far less destructive then they where way back when we could not forcast them days before landfall.

On a related note, anyone ever notice that gerogia hardly ever gets a direct hit? I can't re-call one direct hit in all the time i've been tracking acully. It is funny, they ethor hit flordia or land somewhere between south carolina - virgina :)

My 'crazy' uncle owns a beach house in north carolina, but it is not beach front, the trick is having a house inland a ways because on shore there is nothing to break the wind :)
