What's the variable used for thread titles? and forum titles?

In what part of the forum? What's the template you want to use it in?

Wow a reply. Hello, Basically what I want to do is make thread titles and forum titles show up in my archive like this place

In the config for mine it's like this

// Title of your website/forums... used for <title> tags on most pages
$title = "$thread[title]";

But does not work.. Any help greatly appreciated
