How to move a POST?
I seriously can't find where there is an option to move a post :speechless: I know you can move a thread, and I also see that there is a SPLIT THREAD option but that only allows you to split the current posts into a NEW thread. ANyone have an ideas how to actually move posts from one topic to another?
thanks in advance |

You'll have to 'Split Thread' to pull out the Post you want to move, then use 'Merge Threads' to bring the new thread (containing the pulled out post) and the one you want to move to together.
I vaguely recall someone wrote a hack to move a post from thread to thread but I haven't seen it for vB3. |
in vb3 it's not that easy anymore, as you have to reorder the parentid's of actual posts...
i still have the plan to port over that part of my hack into the vb3 version, but didn't have the time or mood to do it right now.. |
ahhh ok so it's not an easy task then :ermm: I was thinking it wasn't cause I been searching around in vb3 and couldn't find any easy way to get it done
