Users can't bump their own threads?

I thought I remember seeing a hack like this, but I've searched and can't find it.

I'm looking for a hack that would not bump a thread up to the top if the person who is posting was the last poster. So if userA posts and gets no response, then posts again his thread will still stay where it was. But if userA posts, then userB posts and then userA posts again it would act normally.
