Can anyone plse tell me which portal mod is the best for vbforum 3.03?
 

I just brought vbforum 3.03 and looking for a portal mod. There are vbindex and vbhome also something called vbsite? can anyone pls tell me which one is the best?

I have vbadvanced, I am very happy with it .. I have tried vbportal and ran into install problems.. might what to test it out .. it is a free portal.. vbadvance.com

I use vBindex and I think it's great. I never tried any other though.

How do you excetly use this? this looks very complicated.

Does vbindex Rc5 support the latest verion 3.03 vbforum?

My site http://budgieboards.com/community/home.php uses that version of vBi and is running vB 3.03 so yes it does support it. :)

Sweet thanks for the info. i just installed it and got it runing. but do u know how do i config it like the way core forum is? i looked at your website and my website. we both don't have the return to mainsite button ontop. unlike this forum and the core forum. do u know how to do it?

I'm not sure what you mean. I don't see any buttons on top of the core forums site/forum.

oh i got it. also how do i add my own cutsome box? like the one in your homepages says about us. couldn't figure it out.

At http://yoursite.com/forum/admincp/vbioptions.php? choose which box you want to be custom. Then select from the corresponding drop down menu Custom Box x (x being the custom block # you want to use). Make sure the rest of the settings are correct and hit save.

Then in the Style Manager find the template vbindex_customblock_x (again, x being the custom block # you want to use).

Find
Replace that with
Then find
Replace that with
Save it and you're done! Hope this helps.
