vB Code in Thread Titles

Sorry if this has been asked before or if such a thing exists, but I was wondering if it was possible to add vBCode to titles. For example, making certain words bold/italic in a thread title. Thanks in advance if anyone could help with this!

It can be done, but probably not the best idea... Say someone uses [size=4][color=red][b]READ MY POST!![/b][img]large_image.jpg[/img][/color][/size]

Would you not get a very messed up thread list?
