Small HTML Table Question

How can I keep a row from stretching like you can see the 'Guestbook' row has done? Seems simple and I didn't want to ask but I can't figure it out so, please help :)

you can avoid things like this by putting a table in a table.

Though if a column is stretched, then every cell within that column is stretched...

it's a limitation of html.
