How to disable member list?

Hi

I am hoping to install an email system that will be integrated with vbulletin (socketmail). I want to share the user databases between the two systems.

I am worried that spammers may scan the members list for the email addresses and I was wondering if there was a way to disable the members list.

There might be a very simple way to do this, but I haven't been able to find it yet.
