Theres are site claiming they are giving free 2MBit connection to 80 million people @the end of this month.

But i dont see how they can do that - they also offer you ?27 [GBP] for each person you get to sign up to the service :?

now i would like to know some info: like is it a scam & how does someone give 80 million a 2mb connection free & pay xxx people to get people. They offer a media pack but you must come from media company in oder to view the info

Note that any offer that seems too good to be true and that offers something free that involves referrals is either screwing you over or going to annoy everybody around you (a la those damn "free" iPod links going around).

Not only that but pyramid schemes in the UK are illegal.

I am quite surprised to see that a lot of people aren't seeing the pyramid scheme in the ipod deal and evidently, this broadband deal.

Well with the iPod scheme, you don't realise it until your in the final stages when it says go and bid for the 1cent ipod on ebay. I mean if people can get confused by fake emails from people pretending to be banks and such, it's easy to see why they'd get fooled so easily by this :)
