Special Post Counter V 0.2
Well
this hack exists in the vb2 and this user requested for vb3 https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=64365 What is this? The Special Post Count is a funny hack. You can add a special counter for determined forums (example: offtopic). Only the posts mades in that forum counts to the special counter and the default counter not have any change This hack are originally made by Dpcows https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=48977 I only made a re adaptation for vb3 :D I made the hack using the Hack Tracking Log and also a experimental version with text file any bug find, problem installing, or something else are welcome ENJOY UPDATE Version 0.3 changes: -fixed again the sql queries, now work in the last vbulletin versions (Not vbulletin 3.5) UPDATE Version 0.2 changes: -fixed the sql queries in install txt -fixed the xml sintax in spc_settings.xml in intall htl FOR UPDATE TO 0.3 If you try in the past this hack and not work, the sql queries remain in the database. For fix this problem, only ejecute this queries Code:
DELETE FROM setting WHERE varname='spc_status' Thats all |
Does it count posts made before the hack was installed?

but i view the possibilities of add a option for count all posts made in x forum and add that amount to the extra counter |
Thanks a lot man =)
*clicks install* |
Is it possible to have it only register the first post? so if the person replys to posts it doesn't register it. if it can do that then I can put it to good use :)
|
Nice hack, im going to try and install it later.
|
I'll install that later on. Thanks, Dude! :)
|
how about a special thread counter?
|
Can anyone make this work with the promotions system? That way, you could create a new forum, or choose a forum every month and designate that forum to have this "special post count" ................then run a promotion, where anyone who has x amount of posts in that section gets.........whatever.
I'd like to use this to encourage people to post on dormant sections of the board...........and other applications. Can it be done? |
Installed it, and made the proper hacks, but the "Special Post Count" section of the Admin Panel is blank. Help! :)
