CountryCheck.com anon proxy IP blocking
 
Has anyone effectively hacked vB to use CountryCheck.com lookups to block all anonymous proxy IP's from accessing their forums?

I'm not trying to fight crime... just want to make it harder for banned troublemakers that generally have a static IP from re-registering and maybe even from viewing the site at all.

The more you fight them, the more the will try to make trouble - and nothing will stop ppl who really want to make trouble. This will only lock out some normal users (maybe).
The better way to deal with such ppl is to simply ignore them.
