Free Watermarking Software
 

Are there any good free watermarking software that is very configurable and would process many images? Thumbnailing is a plus.

PHP is good :)

You can use PHP for this - thumbnailing is of course included :D

I'll look into it for ya when I have some time - I've done it for another client - just have to dig out the scripting...

I think it's high time I looked into GD now it has GIF support :)

i think it was filburt who released the watermarked attachments for vb2, he seems to be pretty expertish at it :)

Umm, I wanted a list of software :P
GD and me are inseperable I have done it with PHP lol.

What I need it for is a 10000 picture demo on CD. And the cd has a program that shows the thumbnails, and since I am not that fluent with Visual Basic, I have coded it really bare, and featureless just standard.

You want it to process them live on the CD? or process heaps of pics into a thumbs folder to then store on the CD - 'cos PHP can do that for you ...

Well if it could put them on a CD I would die a happy man. What I am looking for is a software that will allow me to put an image where I want it per lotted pictures, put images, that will lower the quality, make thumbnails, and use my home resources that will require me not installing any other softwares such as Apache then PHP then compiling PHP with GD :P

Well it can output these images to your hdd - I got the impression that you might have a small server in your room there :) (from your post about the backups you have done in the past)...

I do have a small server in my house that contains all the backups of my personal site, but thats all it has.

So anyone have any software suggestions?
