Phorum to VB
Hi,
I'm currently running a PHORUM 3.x and because it is successful and I need more features, I'm thinking about vBulletin. I found very few information about mirgation from Phorum to vB. Unfortunately, I have no information about the database structure of vB - the phorums db structure I know well. If found this https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthrea...ghlight=phorum Thread, but it is about V2 - and because I've no vB-License yet, I can't see the attachment (and I can't see the db-structure because I have no vB). Can anybody say if it is possible to migrate from phorum. No UserDB is necessary, all post can be as "Guest". There is just one "phorum-Forum" which has >10000 posts and is threaded. Thanks in advance Ralph |
The a/m scrpt imports Phorum to vB 2, and as vB 3 inself can import vB 2 this should be no problem.

Hi Ralph,
Thanks for taking the time to visit vBulletin.org. Whilst we deal with code modifications, official importers are developed by one of the vBulletin.com staff over at their forums. Here's a thread which hopefully will fill you in on what importers are currently available: http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=100464 Jerry says to PM him over at vBulletin.com if you have any requests. If you request it i'm sure he'll add it to the list. Best Regards, - Dean |
Thanks, but I had no time - seeing the list I knew that it will take a long time until there will be an official script.
I just tried it and wrote my own script - its fairly easy because the database structure is very similiar. arpy |
