Amazon Store integration.....

This would be totally awesome....

as Amazon developpers require a Amazon API to deal with integrations, it can't be done for free... the API cost about 100$ just for a single use, so i suppose that a code developper would require at least that you pay for that API...

btw, there are some free templates to build basic integration (grabs) on hotscripts.com ...

and yes, the suggestion is good...

I checked out some of the free script and the catch is that you have to use the authors associate id number!!! That means any sale you make he gets the refferal fee...

this is why the job is never free... Amazon like other systems, require to make profits... Paypal is the same, that's why we don't have a Paypal driven shop yet...

I already have some script for my amazon store.. I just wanted to somehow integrate it....

Thanks,

Rich

Em no it doesn't
You must be confusing it with something else.

Yep it's totally free to use Amazons webs services. I would like to integrate my amazon store as well. I'm using this script. You can see it in action here: http://www.modernengineuity.com/store/

I have it integrated into the design pretty well, but it's totally separate from vBulletin.

are you searching something like this?

http://www.leonsio.de/amazon/test.php?ASIN=B00005JMAH

B00005JMAH<-- ASIN/Article Number from Amazon

private use of amazon API is free

you can search articles through the api or get the current price

at the moment am working on a little hack for ASIN-BBCode ;)
