Translate this post (anyone interested!)

Hi All

I just finished a new addon, I will post a demo tomorrow....

What it does....

In the usercp it add's an option for the user to display 'translation tools', the tools allow the user to read a post that was posted in 'english' or 'other' languages to be translated into their own native language! The service can run on unix or linux and also windows!

Note

This does not use any free translation service, it runs directly on your server!

The tools allow the user to translate a single post or the complete page of posts! Only translating the post text!

Would anyone be interested in something like this???

i would be interested if the translating tool is known and performing... 100% of the actual translating tools i know are craps even from english to american, so i can't deal with a basic system... there is already some hacks using the google translator and it's one of the most efficient for now...

This is way better than google(s), even though I did write some of those class methods....

Systran(s) base product it awful, why, because the SGML, TRADOS filters it uses suck! Wait till you see the demo tomorrow night, you will then see why I say it better than google(s) or any other!

sonia, you wrote the translation engine yourself?

neat.

I am interested in this, but my users will probably need to learn to spell before it becomes useful, LOL

This would be excellent - the one drawback with Google's system is the fact it cannot be logged in
