Funny comments in vB source... Post them here!

I saw this one and found the... "creativity" to be funny.
PHP Code:

 // unwysiwygify the incoming data

Gotta love inventing words. :D

Not trying to be obtuse but if you find that 'funny' you really need to work on your sense of humour. ;)

LOL! This thread itself is funny! :)

I find much more funny comments in Links coding than i do the developers :)

vBMS's comments, IIRC, include several "// fix stupid (really stupid problem here)".

vB2 had some comments like that ("// fix idiotic Nutscrape problem" comes to mind) but vB3 doesn't really. In fact a lot of the files need their comments updated because many function names in comments are from the beta before they were refactored to the new style guide.

By the way dstruct2k, just to clarify I wasn't being offensive, I was joking too. :D

well, there are still a few funny comments in vb3's code.

i remember the one, where one line was two times appearing and the comment

// this line should be there twice

iirc now with 3.0.3 one of those lines is gone ^^

PHP Code:

    $shutdownqueries = array(); // stop the queries from being reexecuted for whatever reason
    // bye bye!

How polite - they even said goodbye to me :D!
