Find duplicate users hack
 

There was such hack for vB2:
An external script that checks the vB database for users having the same IP or password.

Can anyone implement it for vB3?

No, as the password is stored as md5(md5(password) . salt), so it would be only the same if two users had the same password AND the same salt.

So you could only check for the same IP, but this doesn't mean much thinking of dialup users with dynamic IP or proxies with multiple users having the same IP.
