I suggest that you guys change your permissions system so that anyone can view image attatchments, regardless of whether they are verified or not.

Or mabey allow them to download all attachments except for .zip/.rar/.txt :ermm:

Because vBulletin doesnt work like that by default, it would take more hacking, which while fun isnt the fastest way to keep vB.org up to date ;)

Hmm ... why should unlicensed users see Screenshots of vB Hacks?
Doesn't make too much sense, as they can't use the hacks anyway.

The only arguement I can see here is that it would possibly attract more customers as they can see what the mods do instead of just reading :) Saying that, I don't think it'd be too beneficial :)

I agree with you Dean *shudders at the thought of agreeing with you* but its right Its not really beneficial. Most of the modifactions here come with demos or really good explainations of what the hack does so I really don't see the need for this.

Right, it has some advantages, but it's not really needed, and as it would require hacking, we won't do it.

personally, I dont thin unliscensed users should see these forums at all. Or the main forums at VB - I have had troublesome users try to use my posts against me.....

well it's a thin line we ahve to draw.

The hacks are an important reason for a lot of users to buy vbulletin, so we cannot disallow them to see the hacks forum, but we have to make sure, that no unlicensed user can make use of our board for illegal purposes...

i think, the way it is now, is the best we can make, but we know that if you have other preferences you can see that different :)

I think the 'Thread Title' is enough for unlicensed users, IMHO
