quick reply like vb.org
 

where can i find the quick reply like vb.org ... where the quick reply box is enabled always, but if the user clicks a quick reply link to quote a thread, the quote check box becomes enabled.

ya, but i think that only puts the quote check box CHECKED by default. here on vb.org it is CHECKED by default, but disabled unless a "quick reply to this message" link is clicked.

thats exactly what i did on my board and its exactly like vb.org ... just make sure require click for QR is disabled and your good

Depends if you are using vB2 or vB3 if you are using vB2 just get the quick reply hack if you are using vB3 it is an option under "vBulletin Options" in the Admin Control Panel.

it's pretty simple, as long as you didn't click on a post to be quoted the quote checkbox is useless, so just make it checked by default, and bingo ;)

i did the same like you said add check="checked" in the showthrew, , there still no quick reply box in the positing of my site, do you know why or i miss any steps?

yea you need to set the quick reply options in vboptions first
