ChocoJournal 2.5b - vBulletin Journals
 

I've had a custom journal system at my site called ChocoJournal running vBulletin 3. It's proven to be extremely popular on my board and is a work in progress.

Within a one year period, these are some numbers:
Total Entries: 29,559
Total Journal Views: 1,352,226
Total Comments: 101,983

Here are some of the features:

• Complete integration with vBulletin 3 (postbits and profiles)
• Anyone can start a journal with two clicks.
• Simple quick commenting system
• Top 10 Journals by Warks function which uses a complex formula to calculate popular journals.
• Ability to search Journals entries.
• Integration with vBulletin's Buddlist.
• Option to create private entries (only buddies can view)
• Option to view most recent entries from all buddy journals on one page.
• Comment tracker system showing you the latest 50 comments made in journal.
• Ability to view last 20 comments made by any user.
• Full integration of vBcode / smilie code in comments / entries.
• Journal control panel
• Journal ban list allows users to ban users/guests from viewing and commenting in your journal.
• Journal custom image allows users to upload a custom journal banner that will be displayed at the top of their journal.
• Users can put custom static messages in their journal.
• Random journal entry on the front of the journal system.

I've been a big fan of your ChocoJournal since it's creation during the vB2 days.

An importer for vBJournal entries would also be nice.! :nervous:
