Links that load on same window if it came from same URL?
 

Hey people :)

I remember a mini-mod from vB2 that made links posted in the forums that were within the same domain to load in the same window instead of launching another browser window.

For example, in one thread located at www.yoursite.com/forums/, someone posts a link to the site's privacy statement, whose url is www.yoursite.com/forums/privacy.php or www.yoursite.com/privacy.php, or maybe a link to another thread within the same forum. Is there a way to load that link in the same window instead of launching a new browser window?

If the mini-hack has been made already, can anyone provide a link? I don't know what to use as keyword in order to find it in vB.org :D

I always thought this should be a setting in the admincp to control this. I agree that local links should open in the same window while external links spawn a child window......
