CP Question
I have a question regarding the ModCP / AdminCP
I have a set of moderators on my site, what I am looking for is to grant certain functions within ModCP. However, the modcp does not have the certain function. So, what I am looking for is, either an simple method of modfiying the modcp's index.php, or the files that needs to be edited for the modcp. Thanks, HoC |
Maybe I should expand more on this since nobody replied, *laughs*.
What I am looking for is information or which files exactly do I need to edit in order to further restrict / allow access in the AdminCP / ModCP to some certain functions. HoC |
i know admin's account u can modify options but not with modcp, you would have to either edit the files or just go with admincp and modifyin options

I haven't done it yet for vb3, but with vb2, we copied the admin panel into a new directory and simply stripped out what we didnt want them to have access to. Xenon created a cool hack that does the same thing but makes use of variables and such. This is also for vb2.

I know that, it will not work with vb3, at least that's what I have tried.
I have to somehow modify the files. But I only want to know which files it is. I can figure out what needs to be coded in. HoC |
