Advise needed for creating a index page for my site.

Hello,
I am a newbie to this website, though I have browsed from time to time.

I have a website http://www.echarcha.com/ which has been running for 4 years now. I started with vBulletin 1.x versions and have upgraded over the years till version 2.4. Then I could not keep up with updates due to increased work, etc.

The main page which you see on my website is written by me. I had studied the database structure and had written PHP queries.

Anyway, to make a long story short, I wanted advise from you about which index page script I should use once I upgrade to the latest vBulletin3.0 version.

I see many such scripts here but dont know which to use. My server is not a dedicated server but gives fairly good response times. I dont have a ton of traffic but usually 200 people are online throughout the day.

Thanks in advance for your advise and help.

Your usage stats seem about the same as mine, I've always used vBAdvance, while it was mYvBindex too. I just made the switch to vBAdvanced CMPS so I'd recommend that for your needs.

Thank you very much for the information. I just hope that this page you suggest does not use too many SQL queries.

On that note since I upgraded to CMPS from the standard edition I have found my homepage and such powered pages loading a little slower than usual - not sure if this has something to do with the query count or not.

vBadvanced CMPS, has differnt moduals, which can be enabled / disabled.

vBadvanced CMPS is much more customisable so i personally would go with that. It enables you to add more pages via the admincp and moduals. Take a look over at
http://www.vbadvanced.com is the best advice i can give.

Good luck with the upgrade and welcome to vb.org :)
