User Able to Selectively Hide Fields?
 

Is it possible to setup the profile/registration section to allow the user to decide which fields they would like hidden and which they would like to share?

Hidden to who? if they dont fill in the data then it wouldnt show.

Yes, its more than possible, you could do it without hacking, but it would take abit more work.

Basically I want the user to fill in info that we require, then let the user decide if he/she wants to share that same info with the rest of the board. I would appreciate it if you could give me a starting search point on how to accomplish this

Do you want them to be able to display, all of it or none of it? or be able to choose each part?

If they could choose each field that would be ideal. Say their profile had salary and job title. Obviously if they didn't want to share at all then they wouldn't enter anything, but if they do type something in I would like them to be able to select whether the field can be seen by just admins or by everyone. Say they wanted everyone to know thier title, but only us to know thier salary.

Well, the first non hacking way would be to add an aditional proflile field and use conditionals to show or not show them.
