Header Background

How can i change the header background?

I'd like to make a header that has a similar layout to this site. where the bg of the header mixes in with the banner.

Do you mean the logo, or nav buttons?

It's just XHTML w/tables to arrange things, and some transparent images.

A good source for XHTML tutorials is www.w3schools.com
