Opt in to newsletter at sign-up

I'm after a 'hack' that would allow me to add a simple checkbox within the username, password and email field when a user signs up. That is;

"Add me the free Excel/VBA Newsletter" checkbox.

When checked, the sign up email is sent to;

subscription@ozgrid.com
with the Subject
OzGrid: Mailing list: Newsletter

I have seen other ones (newsletter hacks) but I would really like to have this way if possible.
