preserving post text on error
My users are getting frustrated when they type in a long post, submit it, and then "lose" it because they got a standard posting error (attachment upload error, too many smilies, etc.).
Is there a way to preserve the posting text during the submit process, so that it isn't lost if the user gets an error? |
In my experience, if you hit 'Back' the post text is still there.
|
Sometimes (specially under IE) when you hit back the text is all gone.

The back button works on my personal computer setup, but it doesn't work for many of my users.
